Job Title: Head Teacher

Location: ATS Learn and Grow Kindergarten, Nakuru

Job Type: Full-Time

Introduction: ATS Learn and Grow Kindergarten is seeking an experienced and proactive Head Teacher to lead our preschool. This role is essential for driving the marketing and growth of our institution, supervising trainers, and managing daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and a background in business management or teaching, with a preference for experience in Early Childhood Development (ECD).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing and Growth:
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the kindergarten and attract new students.
    • Collaborate with the team to create promotional materials and engage with the community through events, social media, and other channels.
    • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to ensure growth and sustainability of the preschool.
  2. Supervision of Trainers:
    • Oversee and support the professional development of teaching staff, ensuring they adhere to educational standards and best practices.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching quality.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
  3. Institution Management:
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the kindergarten, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety protocols.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and educational outcomes.
  4. Communication and Leadership:
    • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, staff, and stakeholders to build strong relationships and address any concerns.
    • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the kindergarten, aligning with its mission and goals.
    • Represent the kindergarten at meetings, conferences, and community events.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Business Management, Education, or a related field. Additional qualifications in Early Childhood Development (ECD) are preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational or early childhood setting. Experience in marketing and growth strategies is a plus.
